Contouring the upper arm: Liposuction or Brachioplasty?
Sagging skin, called “batwing” deformity is fairly common on women’s arms. It can occur from weight loss, sun damage (causing subsequent skin thinning), or simply because women’s triceps may be puny and the overlying skin wobbly. Whatever the cause, no one is happy with “lunch lady arms”. In a few cases, certain individuals with elastic skin and small fat deposits, can benefit from liposuction. However most people with excess skin and fat must consider the trade-off of accepting a scar for improved contour.
